Rosser Books in the Women, Gender, and Technology series examine issues and ideas evolving out of the intersection of technology and gender studies. Scholarship that examines women and science is well-developed, but the area of technology and gender has produced only a handful of studies. The series will address this gap with projects that examine the co-production of technology and gender; the intersection between gender and technology in a range of domains that include work and economy, engineering and design, education, medicine, politics, and religion; and the intertwining of cultural meanings of technology and gender. |
