Since its founding in 1910 by Dean John Henry Wigmore, The Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology (JCLC) has played a unique role in the history of criminology in America. JCLC continues to provide a forum for dialogue and debate on such topics as white-collar crime, constitutional questions, international law, evidence, jurisdiction, and securities regulation. The Journal remains one of the most widely circulated law journals in the country with a broad readership that includes judges and legal academics, as well as practitioners, criminologists, and police officers. JCLC is published by the Northwestern University School of Law and distributed by the University of Illinois Press.
