On October 9th, 2013 the Motion Picture Association of America celebrated the 30th Anniversary of Philip Kaufman’s film The Right Stuff in Washington, D.C.

The MPAA hosted an event that included a screening of the film followed by a Q&A with the director moderated by Annette Insdorf, author of the UIP Contemporary Film Directors series book Philip Kaufman.
