A thoroughfare for most and a coffee station for many, the press breakroom is also the place to find unexpected treasures.

Alongside stacks of The New York Times and other general announcements, the breakroom tables regularly showcase great giveaways such as books, movie coupons, and desserts. I’ve even seen a TV, citrus shampoo, wooden chickens, and holiday ornaments, all marked “Free.”

This laundry detergent apparently didn’t satisfy its original owner, but it was a welcome find by another colleague.
