Steven Ashby and C. J. Hawking, authors of the new book Staley: The Fight for a New American Labor Movement, are on the road and writing a tour diary for the book’s website.

In all three events our children Wyatt, 12, and Eva, 11, who are on spring break, were our cashiers staffing the literature table. We stayed an extra day in St. Louis to reward their great efforts, enjoying the Marriott at the beautiful St. Louis Union Station which has been converted to a mall, complete with a trampoline attraction where our kids, tied to bungee cords, joyously bounced forty feet into the air countless times.
