Alison D. Goebel, a student assistant in Acquisitions at the University of Illinois Press, was one of eight graduate students on the Urbana-Champaign campus to be awarded a fellowship by the Illinois Program for the Research in the Humanities for 2010-2011.  She was recognized for her project “Reconfiguring Middle Class Whiteness: Global Capitalism, Race and Small City Space in the United States.”
