Woo hoo! Retired University of Illinois Press acquisitions editor Judy McCulloh will be one of 18 artists to receive a lifetime achievement award from the National Endowment for the Arts.  The New York Times’ Arts Beat column reports that she will be recognized in the field of folk and traditional arts. Philip Glass and five members of the Marsalis family will also be honored by the NEA at this year’s ceremony.

A big congratulations to our former colleague.
