The New York Times covers an experiment in family ties taking place in Rantoul, our neighbor to the north. Rantoul has suffered some hard times since the closing of Chanute Air Force Base in 1993. But the work going on at Generations of Hope, led by former University of Illinois researcher Dr. Brenda Eheart, is beyond cool. If you’re looking for heroes, we’ve got them right here in Champaign County.
