Did you miss us? We’re back again with all the Journals news from the first half of 2025 in this Journals Q1–Q2 UPdate!
We are proud to announce that we have participated in a new open access model through Project MUSE for two of our journals. Project MUSE’s “Subscribe to Open” (S2O) program is an equitable open access model for scholarly journals that enables subscription journals to open access to their current content without article processing charges (APCs). As this year’s issues come out and anytime in the future, you will be able to access Journal of Aesthetic Education Volume 59 and Music and the Moving Image Volume 18 for free online.
Our other big news from the first half of the year is that the Journal of the Abraham Lincoln Association is now available on the Scholarly Publishing Collective! The Journal is open access, with 45 years of history freely available. New content appears online six months after the publication of the print issue.
P.S… It’s not Journals-specific, but did you see the exciting update about our new director of the Press?
