Friends of Barbara Christian will be celebrating her life and work by reading from the new book New Black Feminist Criticism, 1985-2000 at Cody’s Books in Berkeley on May 4, 2008. Participants will include Gloria Bowles, Arlene Keizer, Thalia Kitrilakis, Ula Taylor, and Marvina White.
