Lorna Goodison appears in Book Sense’s April picks list for her new book From Harvey River: A Memoir of My Mother and Her Island (Amistad/Harper Collins). The University of Illinois Press previously published three collections of Goodison’s poetry: To Us, All Flowers Are Roses, Turn Thanks, and Controlling the Silver.
