On October 2, J.D. Crowe’s hometown newspaper, the Lexington Herald-Leader, featured a review of Marty Godbey’s new book Crowe on the Banjo: The Music Life of J.D. Crowe.

Mostly, though, we witness the quest of the young Crowe, who subscribed to the work regimen of many budding artists, especially the more industrious ones. . . .
