Well, Hoopeston, Illinois, isn’t officially in the immediate Champaign-Urbana “neighborhood,” but we’re all East Central Illinoisans here. This week the New York Underground Film Festival is premiering the documentary Hoopeston, “a tale of the town that corn forgot.”
