Shelf Awareness reports this morning that Cambridge University Press is staging mini galley parties on Fridays in Washington Square Park in New York.

Kicking off the parties tomorrow, the press will give away limited quantities of galleys of The Letters of Samuel Beckett as well as . . . some hot dogs.

Hmm.  Our mini galley parties would be micro galley parties. I’d hand out one free advance of Black Maverick and head back to the office.  All the other copies were shipped to review media.
