We are pleased to announce A History of the Ozarks, Volume 2: The Conflicted Ozarks by Brooks Blevins is the winner of 2021 of the Arkansas Historical Association’s J. G. Ragsdale Book Award in Arkansas History.

The J. G. Ragsdale Book Award in Arkansas History is given annually for the best book-length historical study (non-fiction) of any aspect of Arkansas history.  Because of the pandemic, the Association is holding a virtual conference this year, and there will be an online awards ceremony on June 4, 2021.
