Though I loves me some glam rock (David Bowie, T. Rex, Roxy Music, etc.), I was surprised that the new issue of Library Journal has a feature advising libraries on how-to-build-a-glam-rock-music-collection before the book review section. I’m sure LJ explained the logic of this placement somewhere in a previous issue but all of the “media” reviews (audiobooks, DVD, etc.) precede the book reviews. It seems counterintuitive to me. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to their how-to-build-a-British-folk-collection feature. Hint: Start here.
