“Faith Holsaert was 19 years old attending college in New York City when she heard the call to travel to the segregated South and join the fight for racial equality. Her decision took her to southwest Georgia where beatings, lynchings, church burnings and other acts of racial violence were part of the daily narrative. . . . [She] joins host Frank Stasio to talk about her experience as a Civil Rights activist and to share other women’s stories of courage and determination.”
