On Tuesday April 6, 2010, Steven K. Ashby and C. J. Hawking will discuss their recent book Staley: The Fight for a New American Labor Movement at Busboys & Poets (5^th & K) in Washington D.C.

Staley chronicles the bitterly contested labor conflict in the mid 1990s at the A. E. Staley corn processing plant in Decatur, Illinois, where workers waged one of the most hard-fought struggles in recent labor history.

Thomas Frank will introduce the authors.
