“Sweet Tyranny” wins Wentworth Award

This award for the best history monograph published by The University of Illinois Press in a given year was established by the University of Illinois in honor of Richard Wentworth, longtime director of the Press, upon his retirement. The selection is made by a committee of scholars. This year, the readers were Thomas Dublin, Eileen Boris, and Elizabeth Jameson. Sweet Tyranny is a volume in the Working Class in American History series.
