The Stephanie and Evelyn So Endowment Fund supports undergraduate and graduate internships at the University of Illinois Press. These internships provide humanities students with essential hands-on experience and career development, allowing them to develop substantial skills and projects for their resumes and portfolios. Interns work side-by-side with our press, gaining mentors and professional references who can help them succeed after graduation. These internships also benefit the press, bringing a breadth of experiences and skills to our team and serving our mission to increase diversity and inclusion within the publishing industry.
